Our Story

reaches far back into the past – to the year 1478, when Emperor Ferdinand granted a special certificate to the inhabitants of Ribnica and Kočevje, allowing them to produce and sell wooden goods throughout the entire Austrian Empire. This tradition of wood craftsmanship became the foundation on which our family’s craft later grew.

In the 19th century, our great-grandfather Simon began making the first wooden vessels. The knowledge was carefully passed down through generations – from Simon to Franc, Anton and Milena – and is today preserved with the same dedication by Anton and his family.

We create

wooden vessels that were once used in households and wineyards, today live on as functional and decorative pieces in alpine huts, mountain lodges, and the homes of those who value authentic craftsmanship. Each piece is handmade with patience and respect for native alpine wood and nature.

With every product, we strive to preserve a part of the tradition that our family has nurtured for nearly 150 years.

Our work is more than a craft – it is a living family heritage, present in every piece that leaves our workshop.

In a time

dominated by speed and mass production, our wooden products serve as a reminder that true value lies in handmade work, tradition, and respect for nature.
